چکیده
Sugarcane leaves and trash burning during harvesting, vinasse management, are major challenges of the Thai sugarcane industry. Identification appropriate valorization pathways for both biomass waste streams using biorefinery concept is necessary. This study aims to assess environmental sustainability five CE models, including (1) electricity, (2) biochar, (3) as a soil conditioner, (4) bio-fertilizer, (5) power generation. Life cycle assessment has been conducted ReCiPE midpoint impact method. The results revealed that all utilization scenarios can help reduce impacts compared base case. electricity generation brings about lowest due credits from substitution grid electricity. on climate change, terrestrial acidification, ozone formation by 20–104%, 43–61%, 12–54%. Recycling bio-fertilizer biogas production change 28–29%. There significant improvement avoidance pre-harvesting in sugar industry, which led big potential utilization. Recommendations enhance efficiency discussed. integrated circulation cane vinasses sugar-electricity-ethanol shows advancement bio-circular-green economy (BCG) aspects enhancing

متن کاملInvestigation of thermochemical biorefinery sizing and environmental sustainability impacts for conventional supply system and distributed pre-processing supply system designs
The 2011 US Billion-Ton Update estimates that by 2030 there will be enough agricultural and forest resources to sustainably provide at least one billion dry tons of biomass annually, enough to displace approximately 30% of the country’s current petroleum consumption. A portion of these resources are inaccessible at current cost targets with conventional feedstock supply systems because of their...
